Daily Routine

Today was amazing and exactly what I needed to hear at church. I struggle with anxiety and the spirit of perfectionism which has kept me in delay for way too long. Today, was a reminder that Gods mercy, intelligence and grace is far beyond what we can comprehend. The devil is the master manipulator and he often uses truth to deceive us all because we often lack discernment and wisdom. We often lack the daily rituals/ routines that matter. In my Jesus year I vowed to read the whole Bible in a year and the change in my life has been miraculous. So today I encourage you to focus on your daily routine with God first: pray daily, read the word of God, and take of your temple daily.

JUST BE

As I mentioned earlier (please read the previous section), I have struggled with anxiety and perfectionism. Those struggles kept me trapped in a spirit of delay for far too long. One lesson the Lord has taught me is that the enemy often seeks to distort the very strengths, talents, and gifts that God has given us. What was created for God's glory can be manipulated toward pride, self-reliance, lawlessness, and disobedience if we are not walking closely with Him.

That is why discernment is so important. We must continually grow in wisdom and knowledge through God's Word so that we are prepared to stand firm. The good news is that we do not fight for victory—we fight from victory because Jesus Christ has already overcome on our behalf.

When you follow Jesus, you receive the free gifts of dominion, authority, and freedom through Him.

During a recent sermon, Pastor Jentezen Franklin encouraged us to meditate on Psalm 68:19–20:

"Praise the Lord; praise God our Savior! For each day He carries us in His arms. Our God is a God who saves! The Sovereign Lord rescues us from death."

What an incredible promise. Every single day, God carries us. Every single day, He sustains us. Every single day, He rescues us through His grace. We truly are a blessed people.

Who am I that I could ever offer a sacrifice greater than the one Christ offered for us? I cannot. My responsibility is much simpler: to tell others about the peace, hope, and salvation that are freely available through Jesus Christ.

When you know the truth, confusion begins to disappear. Bondage is broken. Fear loses its grip. You begin to experience the unconditional love of your Heavenly Father.

Do you truly understand how deep God's love is?

Many of us do not because we rarely open His Word. We have become accustomed to attending church without bringing our Bibles or personally studying the Scriptures. I appreciate that my pastor is willing to lovingly challenge and humble us because every believer needs both grace and correction. Loving discipline produces spiritual maturity.

Today the Lord reminded me that pride and self-sufficiency often keep us from walking in step with the Holy Spirit.

Thank You, Lord, for reminding me that You give us the grace we need for today. We are not promised tomorrow, nor are we called to live there. Tarot cards cannot reveal our future. Human predictions cannot guarantee tomorrow. Even our own understanding is limited. But we can trust the character of God and faithfully walk with Him one day at a time.

Jesus repeatedly teaches this throughout the Gospel of Matthew. Rather than worrying about tomorrow, He calls us to depend upon God's provision today.

Matthew 4:4 declares:

"People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God."

How beautifully simple—and yet how difficult—it can be to surrender our own plans and trust God's perfect will instead of our own. Wisdom begins when we admit that we do not know everything and choose to trust the One who does.

Jesus continues this invitation to daily dependence:

Matthew 6:11: "Give us today the food we need."

Matthew 6:34: "So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is
