Remember who you are
As we step into season 2 , a new year with the Lord and sharing what the Lord reveals and hear. The Lord delivered a new Bible to my door "literally" so do not ever think or believe that God does not love you, see you or hear you. Most of the time we are too distracted to see and hear him between work, relationships and entertainment are we actually asking our Creator what we need to do. Are we actually practicing the Lords prayer daily which covers the format of how we should approach life in Christ. The main thing that I would like to bring to the forefront is "give us this day our daily bread." A reminder to completely surrender into Gods will and purpose for our lives. Let us elaborate on the covenant and what God revealed to me through his Word.

As we continue to grow in our maturity in Christ things will shift in your life including relationships, mindset and habits. Part of my redemption journey was realizing all of the things(idols) that I placed before my one and only, God. The truth is we all do this whether its pleasure, yoga, or cannabis we often fall to our own flesh. When we truly decide to follow God he will consecrate and sanctify us because we are truly becoming a new creature in Christ. It is truly a personal resurrection when your heart decides to follow Jesus Christ and you really believe. The verse that confirms this feeling is 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:The old has gone, the new is here!"
I am so grateful that the old Briana has lived her best life but I amd ready to become who God has created me to be. This is hard to say and a testament to my growth and transformation. Due to trust issues and trauma and bondage to intellect you find yourself possessing Jezebel and Leviathan. These are two spirits that represent unbelief, putting other Gods before the God you say you believe. The second is Leviathan, the spirit of pride which is built in deception, control and lies that tend to strangle you and keep you stagnant. However, the first part of any rehabilitation, therapy or healing begins with renouncing denial. Looking in the mirror so that you can tell your true story and testimony is how you claim your power back. God is only here to remind us of who we are. I think of the scene in Loin King when Mufasa is speaking to Simba in a dream chanting " remember who you are."
I specifically asked God to reveal the covenant he has for me this year. God has been revealing the importance of covenants as I read my new delivered Bible. Now this Bible is not your normal Bible but is the Ethiopian Bible which includes the missing Apocrypha, The Book of Enoch, and Jubilees. I kept my covenant after rededicating my life, baptism and promising to read the Bible in one year. I completed this and now I feel as if I am diving into the deeper things of God like Daniel. As mentioned in Daniel 2:22 "He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him." As God slowly reveals to me through his Word and Holy Spirit I cant help but feel like I am remembering.
So as I continue to remember who I am, a child of God, the seed of Abraham, The House of Jacob my experiences now have a new meaning. Simply put, I have new eyes, new ears, a new perception. Then God revealed to me Deuteronomy 8 as the answer to my question about my reconciliation and redemption to God. Now this is the most perfect chapter in the Bible for me and the Lord and it confirms that I am never alone, forsaken or abandoned. However, I am called to be Christ consciousness and be in this world but not of this world. I am called to be the light in the midst of darkness. These are all affirmations that I have boldly stated my whole life but never understood why until I read Deuteronomy 8, my covenant with the Lord.
I AM REMEMBERING MY TRUE IDENTITY.
Do Not Forget the Lord
8 Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land the Lord promised on oath to your ancestors. 2 Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. 3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. 4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years. 5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.
6 Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. 7 For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. 11 Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. 12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down, 13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, 14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. 15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. 16 He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. 17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
19 If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. 20 Like the nations the Lord destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the Lord your God.

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
